Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy

Memberships are payable at the beginning of each calendar year and remain active until 31 December of the current calendar year that membership is purchased.

After completing your application and paying your membership fee, your application will be reviewed at the next committee meeting for approval. The committee reserves the right to cancel any membership that contravenes our guidelines or charter.

Membership applications including the right for refusal on application and cancellation.

Individuals and organisations can become members.

Communications

By applying for membership of Creative Assembly Central NSW Inc., I understand I will receive communications regarding my membership, meetings, events, and other opportunities. My contact details will not be shared to a third party without my permission.

Storage of personal information

Your contact information is shared in a database, accessible only by the Secretary and other designated committee members.

Marketing

If you sign up to the newsletter or become a member you will receive communications about meetings, events, and other opportunities. If you no longer wish to receive these communications, email cracninc@gmaill.com with unsubscribe in the subject field.

Approval of listings and events and timeline for approval

Directory listings and event posting on the website will be reviewed by a moderator for approval. Creative Assembly is a 100% volunteer organisation. As such, approval may take up to 5 business days. If your posting is urgent please email cracninc@gmaill.com with urgent in the subject field.

Reproduction of images and/or text from site

No images or text may be reproduced from the website, for any purpose, without the written approval.

Refund policy

Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis, at the full discretion of the committee.

All content on this website is the exclusive property of Creative Assembly Central NSW Inc, except where credited otherwise. Said content includes text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, digital downloads, and software. Our content is protected by the copyright laws and we reserve all rights contained therein. In case of dispute or infringement, we will rigorously defend our rights to this material.

Creative Assembly Central NSW Inc  will not be responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from the use of this website, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Events

Individuals, organisations, and businesses are welcome to post their creative and cultural events.

Eligible locations include: the wider Dubbo, Wellington, Gilgandra, Dunedoo, Trangie, Wellington, or Peak Hill regions. 

Your event listing should have some creative or cultural element.

All sizes of events are welcome, from committee meetings and AGMs, to working bees and community workshops, to large festivals and events.

Your event may be highlighted in our newsletter and other communications. Only Financial Members are eligible to have their events promoted in the newsletter.
